WikiQueer's Leadership are volunteers either selected by the WikiQueer community or appointed by The Aequalitas Project to assist with specific aspects of managing WikiQueer. That includes operations of our servers, keeping Spam under control, assisting with media outreach and helping meet our fundraising needs.
WikiQueer's Global Advisory Board, Content Partners and WikiQueer's parent organization, The Aequalitas Project, oversee the administrative and strategic aspects of WikiQueer. While all members of the WikiQueer community are encouraged to provide input on the future direction of WikiQueer and take the initiative to create new content or projects - some individuals have stepped forward and been selected to take on visible roles.
Given WikiQueer's infancy, many tasks which may one day be delegated to committees or projects have been tasked to volunteers interested in leading initial efforts. Many of these individuals were appointed directly by The Aequalitas Project, Global Advisory Board or Lead Administrator. As WikiQueer's community develops, the hope is to shift to a more open community supported selected process. These initial appointments have been made to help stimulate WikiQueer's early development and in the hopes of preventing process from obstructing progress.

However, when in doubt, it is always best to verify with the the system generated list of users with administrator access.
