Usually place this tag at the top of the article (below non-article content such as dab notices, but above infobox and lead section):

You can adjust the default "article or section" text with something more specific, such as:

You can also place this tag at the start of the concerned section and adjust its text accordingly, such as:

This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:WikiQueer spam cleanup. See Special:Recentchangeslinked/Category:WikiQueer spam cleanup to see recent edits to tagged articles.
