Gregory Rae (born April 16, 1978) is an American LGBT theatre and film producer. He has won two consecutive Tony Awards - in 2011 for Best Revival of a Play[2] (The Normal Heart[3]), and in 2012 for Best Play[4] (Clybourne Park[5]). His film producer credits include The Green and Clutter[6].

Gregory serves on the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, Harvey Mudd College, has served on the nonprofits of Living Liberally, National Leadership Council, Lambda Legal, FriendFactor, Play Outdoors and The Tank Space[7], and is an Inaugural Global Advisor of WikiQueer[8]. Prior to becoming a producer, Gregory worked for Google and founded a number of technology companies[7].

Upon graduation from Napa High School in Napa, California, Gregory attended Harvey Mudd College graduating with a degree in computer science and mathematics in 2000.[7] During his time in college, Gregory competed and ranked in international Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM) contests and Interdisciplinary Modeling Contests (ICM).[9][10]

Gregory has served as an alum on the Harvey Mudd College Board of Trustees[11] since 2006[7]. Additionally, Gregory has served on the nonprofit boards of Living Liberally, National Leadership Council, Lambda Legal, FriendFactor, Play Outdoors, The Tank Space[7] and Fight Back New York[12]. Since meeting WikiQueer's founder, Gregory Varnum at Netroots Nation 2012, he also also served as an inaugural member of WikiQueer's Global Advisory Board.[8]

After graduating from Harvey Mudd College, Gregory co-founded and became chief technology officer of Shiny Boxes and worked at Google as a software engineer until 2006. He then founded 22 by 7 Labs, an Internet technology company.[7]

In addition to the traditional financial responsibilities of producers, Gregory also works on marketing and social media for productions he's involved with.[12]
